Question: Hi Darin. I’m thinking of ordering your program. A little background info on me, i just turned 27, i’m a little over 6′ tall and weigh 310lbs. I’ve always wanted to be muscular, but instead i’ve ballooned to over 300 lbs. I’ve bought a lot of books like body for life etc in the past. How is your program different? Answer: Hi Briana, This program has proven to work for women as good if not better then for men. In fact, 65% of our one on one clients in our private studio have been female. We also have great success with clients well into their 70′s with this program. With just a slight bit of altering, the Fatloss LifeStyle Systems work great for a wide variety of clients. Question: What kind of equipment do I need to use your Fatloss LifeStyle System? Do I need to belong to health club?
Answer: Hi Amber, All you need is some basic free weight equipment; a barbell, a curl bar, some free weights, dumbbell’s and a couple benches. 90% of the exercises that are highlighted in the Exercise Library can be performed with this minimal equipment. There is no need to join a health club. In fact, many of our on-line clients have told us that they prefer to work out in small home gyms because of the fast paced-ness and the circuit style routine. Some times at a big health club you have to wait for your equipment.

1. Strength Training Circuit Supersets Performed Interval Style
Each work out takes 55 minutes two or three times per week. We pair “non-competing” exercises together in a circuit set manner. With a variety of different types of exercises including, bodybuilding, plyo-metrics, and functional movements like kettle bells etc.
We split the body in half for each work out. Work out #1 targets chest, biceps, hamstrings, abs, and shoulder (lateral / pull movements).
Work out #2 targets back, triceps, quads, abs, and shoulder’s (press movements) – Often this means upper and lower body exercises, or pushing and pulling exercises with little rest in between sets. Three different exercises, two or three sets to absolute failure, in the 10-14 rep range for each body part.
With a slow three second positive, one second hold, and a three second negative repetition tempo. Therefore the muscles get the focus, and not the joints, ligaments and tendons. It is an incredible feeling. Our experience has taught us that giving the muscles a variety of tensions from different angles keeps the muscles guessing & growing. Do the same exercise the same way and just try to lift heavier and you will not grow and you will injure yourself.
Non-competing supersets allow us to get more work done than traditional supersets. When we combine body weight exercises with basic compound exercises utilizing minimal equipment (a few dumbbells, a bench, and a bar), you can do this work-out anywhere.
You do not need a bunch of equipment (which is a waste of time and does not functionally challenge you anyway).
Included in the system is an “Exercise Library” which is 34 of my best, most effective exercises. Four pictures of me performing each exercise, and four paragraphs for each exercise explaining in detail how to fully maximize the results of each exercise with form and technique. Then we move to…
2. Cardio Vascular Exercise
Your cardio is performed interval style and takes 45 minutes done three times per week. The session is simply 6-7 one and a half minute challenges. Each challenge becomes slightly more challenging and each rest period becomes slightly longer.
The exact interval cardio session that Darin, his trainers, and all his clients have used will be taught to those who purchase this system. The Fatloss LifeStyle Interval Cardio session can and will be personalized for beginners, intermediates, and even advanced fitness clients.
Both the resistance and cardio training are done in interval style because interval style works better for muscle gain and fat loss than low intensity cardio or resistance training. Plus your total time commitment is less than five hours per week. Honest, that’s all. And that is both cardio and lifting.
